53 the woman to the [much?] abused Husband was only equaled by the brazen effrontery of the guilty Soldier. But the inmates of the same and adjoining Houses were equaly [lost?] in morality without regard to Color, And the fruitless endeavor of the guilty woman to hide Her paramour gives me no favorable impression of the Virtue of Women who under the Clearest proof will assume all the appearance of injured innocence, and yet the woman had 5 fine children (Vertically, at left:-) Recd of Sergt W.
