54 Selma Ala Aug 27" 1865 Sunday relieved from Duty this Morning at 8 . spent the day reading, and resting. had a visit from an Old Colored Lady 103 years of age. She Claimed to have known us before and She remembered the Battles of the revolution &c. She took breakfast with us and received 15 cents from Hutchins as an imaginary debt She thought He owed Her for washing, and left highly pleased with with all parties especialy the Yankees
