71 Selma Ala Sept 11" 1865 Monday Capt Reed returned this evening from Demopolis to Co for Duty and took Command I Received by mail one letter from D. B. Henderson He enters on His new Duties as Collector of Internal Revenue for the 3d District of Iowa.on the 1st of Oct 1865 He has been admitted to the Bar some time & intends to open an Office in McGregor Iowa. Some more pleasant Showers today
