75 Selma Ala Sept 15" 1865 Friday The 12" Iowa Regt. suposed to do duty to day. But was onely partialy sucessfully Co B & G. were the onely Companies who held out in a body. 4 or 5 of C held out but finaly Came over to Duty. James Henderson refused but when the 27" Boys gave in He done so also. Capt. Fuller, Capt. Reed and myself were Detailed on Board of Survey on C. S. Flour & Meat &c Wrote a letter to S. L. Henderson
