6 Selma Ala. June 13th,, 1865 Tuesday The officer mess of which I was a member Disolved to day by mutual consent. The Cost of mess for me since March 2d Ammounts to $48.00 or about 47 Cents per day. Settled in full my Mess Account to June 14/65. Received a letter from Miss Durno of date May 27th. James Stewart 2d Sergt was Discharged, May 20" / 65 and Corpl P. K. Ketchum is this day Promoted to 5th Sergt and Private John Delezen to 8th,, Corpl. Very Heavy rain today.
