22 Talladega Ala Oct 6th 1865 Friday About 15 of the Regt left this morning for Montgomery to be Mustered out they are one year's men whos time is out, they went in Charge of Adjt S.R. Burch. James Henderson had Chill fever to day but not very hard. I am Reading, Castle Dangerous or the Douglas Castle another of Scotts inimatible Historical Romances Comemorating the wars of Edward of England and Bruce of Scotland, backed by the powerfull House of Douglas. Received mail tonight one Letter from Mrs Henderson Dated Sept 18/65. one from James Henderson Snr, 1 from Mr Wm Durno (Vertically, at left:-) Sent by Adjt Burch Cash to J.McElvain $10.00
