23 Talladega Ala Oct 7th 1865 Saturday Wrote a letter to Mr Wm Durno Genl Chrysler is releived from Arrest and Reinstated in Command of Sub District of Talladega, and the Arangements Made by Col. Moore left in Command will be Countermanded, & we are Subject to orders like the Movement of a ballance, as one Commander or other has the Ascendant. and it Seems to be onely a matter of time & we will have No advantage of having been Commanded by every Man Woman, & Child in the United States. CO -C - J. & F are Detailed to Seperate Commands at the County Seats of Randolph, Clarke & [Ark?] Counties.
