31 Center Cherokee Co, Ala. Oct 23" 1865 Friday Wrote a few line to Mrs Henderson & Sent back with the Tearn & Courier to Jacksonville for Mail. We are very Comfortably situated, All the men here. Bunks fixed up. and as for Quarters we are better fixed than we have yet been in the Service, Very fine rain this afternoon Court is now being held be fore the Judge of Probate & the Citizens who favored the Federal Cause during the war prefer the Military Tribunal to the Civil in Trial of their Cases. but now they Can get onely partial assistance from us,
