41 "Friday Continued" Woman had been abandoned by Her Husband who took with Him Her onely Child a Baby of two years. The last three Cases were all of White Women. And if my advice was not equal to the wisdom of a Solomon, it was at least thankfully received and cost the parties nothing. I gave the Oath to one man from a Distant part of the County who furnished His own blanks. Had a very Courteous invitation from the presiding Justices to attend their Court during the trial of Cases in which the Military was involved as having turned the parties over for trial to Said Court. (Vertically, at left:-) John Newman Kicked the Federal Soldier that Daniels the sheriff shot in the late afray John Hough was witness to the acts stated Both parties live in Cherokee Co, Spring Creek
