52 Center Ala Oct 30" 1865 Monday very bussey to day administering the oath to the returning Rebels. Court oppened to day but adjourned untill next week. The Judge being sick. Had some mail to day All Trops left Jacksonville, Which leaves Capt Reed in Command of Post of Blue Mountain Capt. Fuller is in Com'd of Post of Talladega. one Lady took the oath to day, Mrs Wright, it seems that Women have to take it at least Heads of Families & freeholders
