8 Centre Ala Dec 3d 1865 Sunday Went to Preaching this forenoon Baptist Church Mr Hollis Preached from "As the Serpent was lifted up by Moses so must the Son of man be lifted up." Our Teem returned from Blue Mountain with 10 days Rations from Dec 1st Capt Reed Assumed Com'nd of that Post Nov 29" and by His Order I remain in Command of this Garrison untill further orders with information to do as I please about Administering more Amnesty Oaths as an Order from Gen Woods Dated Oct 8" No 48 relieving all Officers at that business except those specified (Vertically, from bottom right:-) in that Gen.l Order No 48.
