5 Memphis Tenn Sunday, Jan 14" 1866 The men of Co.C. turned their Arms over to Capt Reed to day,. I went to the Union Church to day and heard the strongest Union sermon I have heard South of Cairo. the onely way he says is to Come out from amongst them & start Union churches, based on the Universal Brotherhood of Men, I wrote a letter to Mrs. Henderson informing her of our mustering out order, I wrote to Jas. Henderson
