7 Memphis Tenn Tuesday Jan 16"1866 `With the Assistance of Sergts Hutchins, Grannis, Woods, Corpl Baker and James Henderson we got our Rolls finished. there is 9 of them in All, 6 muster out Rolls two muster & pay Rolls & one Descriptive Roll, all the men who have belonged to the Veteran Organization have to appear on these Rolls 79 men in all, I have done more writing to day than I have in any one day of my life. My arm & hand is [bowed?] in consequence.
