11 Continued had none of the drugs supposed to have caused the spasms and I could not act on the bare suposition which after all may have been a mistake on the part of the Drugist, yet James evidently had a very narrow escape from Death, We got Transportation and Embarked on the Steamer City of Cairo at 4 oclock, and started at 7 oclock P. M. for Cairo, Ills Lieut Jackson was sent ahead yesterday to get Trans ready from Cairo to Davenport Iowa (Vertically, from bottom right:-) I Wrote to J.J.Lyons Montgomery Ala sending the original order [for issuing?] A.L.Brown with a view to [Colect?] [?
