23 Rockford Ills Jan 30 "1866 Tuesday To day James & I started for Home, via Wm. Kerrs on page 22d. I made a mistake of one day for on Monday we visited Mr. Tulloks Family also Mr. Merchant's Family in [ Burnts?] Township had a very pleasant time the people are agreable and treated us to fine apples of home growth. I find William Kerr living in the greatest harmony with His Wife. [Hellen?] Came up with us from Mrr Durnos where she is living this winter
