48 Oct 25 Dubuque Co. Iowa 1861 10 comissioned officers my beat being the principle entrance to the camp grounds no privits or officers can pass in or out without a pass from a superior officer, Citizens and ladies are allowed to pass at all times during the day time but all are pro -hibited in the night time unless they can give the countersign.
