57 Oct 27 Dubuque Co Iowa 1861 only he had no apple to send Bless his dear large heart But papa will take the intention for the deed and think just as much of him as if he had sent a dozen apples for stinginess & ingratitude is no part of Franky nature, But I guess Frank gathered some of these nice hickory nuts that was sent to papa.
