79 Nov 3 Dubuque Co Iowa 1861 there was about 25 men run the Gaurd today seven or Eight of them were caught and put in the Gaurd House their object was to go to Town and not to desert. Only five from each Company are allowed to go out at one time so that when some cannot get a pass they run out. more Gaurds were put on in Consequence.
