134 Dec 6 Benton Barracks 1861 the weather continues mild and warm for the season of the year. 6 our Commissioned officers were cut off from drawing Rations from the Regimental Quartermasters they have to Board them -selves and draw pay for 4 Rations apiece Each day. so I drew for Rations to 97 men
