Wednesday March 4th 1885 Cleveland inaugurated today. I was at home all the forenoon, after dinner Ida and I went over to Forneys and stayed till after supper. Charlie came for us. Mrs Garret came tonight to board with Ida. I had a letter from Will and from home to. Thursday March 5th 1885 I went down town early this morning and then came back up home before we went to see Miss Lewis. Ida and I went down town a little while in the afternoon and I came back there to stay all night. Friday March 6th 1885 It was stormy this morning and I did not feel very well so concluded to go home and spend the day. I wrote a short letter to Will. I finished my pillow sham. weather quite wintry again. Saturday March 7th 1885 I went over to Brydolfs with Miss Lewis in the morning and from there over to Tallouts where I stayed till after dinner. We went back down town about four oclock and I got some waffle irons for Mother which I took down to the Harris house. I was there till after supper and when I got upon the hill Mrs Clayton came and took us all down to the rink and from there to the depot where we met Charlie. he had been gone all day. I was very tired when I got home at half past ten oclock. weather pleasanter.
