Sunday April 19th 1885. I was at home all day. Mother and Henry Pomeroy who is here walked to the cemetery in the afternoon. I wrote a couple of letters in the afternoon And in the evening I talked with Henry and played some on the piano. Monday April 20th 1885 We washed this morning though it was rainy we get some of the clothes dry and put the rest in the garret. I sewed some in the afternoon and practiced a little. I went to town late and Ott and I selected a watch for Charles Tuesday April 21st 1885 Mother went to town in the morning I was busy about the house all the forenoon as Ida was ironing. I had a letter from Will and answered it in the evening. Ida went home tonight for a days visit I practiced in the afternoon. weather pleasanter than yesterday. Wednesday April 22st 1885. I helped do up the work and went to the depot to meet Charlies wife. We came right on home and I helped get the dinner. In the afternoon and evening we went to the concert for the benefit of Mercy hospital. Thursday April 22nd 1885. It was a faithful rainy day. Ida came last night us girls were at home all day. I wrote a letter to Will work. I practiced a little in the afternoon In the evening we sat around visiting and working a little I have a cold contracted last night I think
