Wednesday September 2nd 1885 We spent the afternoon quietly at Johns and he went with us to the depot when we started at noon. The ride home was tiresome as the cars were crowded to excess Ptt was at the depot and we were soon home. We found Mother up looking for us. I was glad to get home again. Thursday September 3rd 1885 I helped with the work a little in the forenoon and unpacked my things. I took care of Robbie in the afternoon and wrote to Will. the folks all went to the fair. Friday September 4th 1885 I helped Hatt sew a little this morning and Mother was in town. Hatt went to the fair all the afternoon. I worked on my edging some. I have symptoms of a bad cold. Saturday September 5th 1885 Hatt was over to her own house all day getting things cleaned up ready to go home the first of the week. I flet deadful bad with my cold all day, but helped some with the work. Went to bed early. Sunday September 6th 1885 It was a chilly day threatening rain. I felt badly with a cold. Aunt Linda and Ed were here all the afternoon and for supper. Monday September 7th 1885 Hatt went home this morning. I was over before noon. Mother took the children over in the afternoon. Mrs. Wilde and daughter Marnie were here to stay all night. A rainy evening.
