Thursday October 22nd 1885 I was busy about the house most of the forenoon. I put a few things in my valise to go to berlington this afternoon. I dressed after dinner and walked to town Hatt took both the children to the depot with us. Charlie met us at the depot and we were soon on South hill. After an hour visit we went to bed. I was tired. Friday October 23rd 1885 Us girls stayed at home all the forenoon and in the afternoon went down to the office and Harris house and in fact nearly all over town. It was after five when we got home tired nearly to death for we walked out. Saturday October 24th 1885 We stayed at home all day though the weather was lovely. Miss Lewis came late in the afternoon and the Forney girls were over for the evening. Charlie was out of town all day. I worked on my edging for the window shades. Sunday October 25th 1885 It was a delightful day. Ida and Lib went for a walk and Charlie down town. I read and played on the piano In the afternoon Lib and I took a walk over to Forneys and called to see Van Brydolf on the way back Charlie found us there and we all went home together. We spent a pleasant evening visiting among oursleves I wrote home today and to Will Work. We went to bed early.
