Tuesday March 16th 1886 I ironed some this morning before going to town. I spent part of the day at Hatties with other company. I had a letter from Will I worked on lace today and practiced in the evening. Wednesday March 17th 1886 I ironed some more this morning and finished my white flannel shirt. Mother was in town all the afternoon. I practiced two hours and mended the clothes and put them away. I wrote a letter to Will in the evening. Ott went to Berlington tonight. Thursday March 18th 1886 I went to town early this morning and met Hatt coming over with the children to spend the day. John came over for his dinner. I worked on my waist some, but practiced all the evening. Mother went over town as Hatt went home in the afternoon. Friday March 19th 1886 Mother went to town this morning I practiced two hours. I sewed awhile in the afternoon and went to town before supper. Ott got home from Berlington tonight. weather threatening rain. Saturday March 20th 1886 I was busy about the house all the forenoon. I had company for supper that spent the evening. weather disagreeable. I had a letter of importance from Father today.
