Sunday April 11 th 1886 I was busy about the house most of the forenoon. Mother went to church and the ladies went home at the same time. Mr Billingsley and Ray called. I wrote to Vene in the evening. Mionday April 12th 1886 I washed this forenoon and washed out all my new muslin. I was sewing all the afternoon and evening finished several things. Tueasday April 13trh 1886 I washed out new muslin and starched it. I ironed all the afternoon Mother went to town. Edith has scarlet fever. A letter from Will. Wednesday April 14th 1886. I went to town early this morning and got home at ten oclock to got to the valley with Ott. Ate dinner at Aunt Ems, called at Stevens, and got home at five oclock. There was a warm wind that made it very tiresome. I wrote to Will in the evening. Thursday April 15th 1886 Mother went to town before dinner. I ironed my skirts and got the dinner. Hatt came over and I went back with her to do some shopping. Edith is not at all sick with the fever. Friday April 16th 1886 I was in town in the forenoon and sewed all the afternoon on green dress. We heard from Father. he talks of going to California. I wrote to Charlie. Saturday April 17th 1886 I sewed steadily till four oclock on my green jacket and old dressed. I was fixing up for May. I went to town and was gone till supper time. I got me a new bonnet and ordered the material for my brown silk dress. weather quite warm and pleasant.
