Friday April 23rd 1886 I swept and cleaned up the two south corner up stairs before dinner and we took the carpet out of the bedroom next the bay window down stairs in the afternoon. I had a letter from Will which I answered. weather keeps warm and pleasant. Saturday April 24th 1886 May and I went to town early this morning. I got her a new hat and pair of shoes. I was at the dress makers to see about my brown dress and got some thing to bring home with me. A nice new parasal for one thing. I sewed for myself all the afternoon. Mother went to Hatts she says Edith is [?]eeling of from scarlet fever and Robbie shows no signs of taking it. Sunday April 25ht 1886 It was rainy in the morning but pleasanter toward night. I was busy about my room nearly all the forenoon and read and wrote what spare time I had afternoon and evening. John & Hatt were over to supper. Charlie is forty years old today. Monday April 26th 1886 Father came on the early train from the west this morning. I was over town before dinner and sewed all the afternoon. Tuesday April 27th 1886 I was busy sewing all the forenoon. Hatt was over here all the afternoon and I ride over town to do some shopping. I had a letter from Will which I answered. I ordered fringe for my brown dress. Wednesday April 28th 1886 I was over town this morning. Father and Mother went to the valley Aunt Lida was here for dinner. I sewed a little in the afternoon.
