104 Lexington Missouri October 22d - 1864 Saturday We all suffered very much by Reason of Hard marching to overtake Price But He being mounted [He?] evads us still, having left this place Friday, driving Blunt with a Brigade of Cavilry before Him in the direction of Kansas City. This is the prettiest place I have yet seen in this State, The 3d Div again led out, and we followed Marching 25 miles Camping on the Black water, as we are trying to get in Gen Prices Front by a Rappid flank movemement around His Left.
