Monday July 7th 1884. I was over town most of the forenoon with Rob in the phaeton I sent home a bushel of berries and worked all the afternoon putting them up. I walked over town after supper to get some things for tomorrow. Tuesday July 8th 1884. I was at work in the kitchen all the forenoon and soon after dinner dressed for company. Mrs Fletcher and Anna Irish with Hattie spent the afternoon here. We had a pleasant time weather pleasant, had a letter from Charlie he is in Chicago and is going down to Chillicothe. Wednesday July 9th 1884. I worked in the fruit all the forenoon and after dinner went over town and did not come home till after supper. I selected me a hat and got a few other things. Thursday July 10th 1884. We had the washing done and I did part of the ironing. Mother and Rob went to the valley to spend the day. I worked some on Hatts shawl.
