Tuesday August 5th 1884. I staid at home to sew all day, letters from the folks say Rob is coming home with them, weather cool. Wednesday August 6th 1884. I went over town to sew, got my calico dress done and brought it home, Minnie came with me to stay all night. The boys all went to a party at Clutes. Thursday August 7th 1884. We had the washing done I helped with the work We got nearly all the ironing done. Mother took Edith home. Friday August 8th 1884. The folks got home this morning. Rob seems real strong. I cut out some muslin after dinner and went over to see Hatts and bring home my silk dress she came home with me and stayed till after supper. Saturday August 9th 1884. I sewed all day on muslin. Mother and Rob were riding in the afternoon. We were joyfully surprised in the evening to have Tom Baker and Dr Harrington come to stay over Sunday, they had been up north for a trip
