Wednesday September 10th 1884. Home all day till five oclock. Went over to Hatts to stay all night. The folks start to Ohio on the early train tomorrow. Rob felt somewhat better and took a short buggy ride. Thursday September 11th 1884. We got washing and part of ironing done. A beautiful day and Hatt was over with Edith. Rob not quite so strong as yesterday. Friday September 12th 1884. I ironed most of the forenoon and Mother went to town to order groceries. I was over to Hatts part of the afternoon. Weather cool. Saturday September 13th 1884. Was over to Hatts all the forenoon. I finished a pair of sheets I began yesterday. She and Edith came home with me to stay till after supper. The boys all went to the valley to play ball. Sunday September 14th 1884. Rob was no better this morning and we sent word for John and Hatt. They came over right after dinner. We telegraphed to Father and Charlie in the afternoon. We were in the room and around Rob most of the time. He sat up from five in the afternoon till nearly ten. The doctor was here in the evening.
