Tuesday November 4th 1884. Election day passed of quietly. We had the washing done I was at home all day. Had a letter from Will. Wednesday November 5th 1884. Did my share of the house work and some sewing, finished Hatts skirt and fixed one for May. Mother was in town awhile. Thursday November 6th 1884. I did some work about the house in the forenoon and was in town all the afternoon. Wrote letters in the evening. Friday November 7th 1884. I gave the house a cleaning up in the morning. Aunty Walker came over. There was a big democratic parade in the afternoon over the election of Cleveland we all went over to see it. A letter from Charlie says he is to be married the 20th. Saturday November 8th 1884. I was over town in the forenoon and Mother was over all the afternoon. I practiced on the piano. Weather fine. Sunday November 9th 1884. Mother, Ott and I spent the day in the valley weather fine. I wrote letters to Vene and Will Reed in the evening.
