To Make Surrup of Clove Gilliflower Take 3 quarter of a peel of Clove Gilliflower Cutt of all the white part: & putt your flower into a Silver Tankered [betwen?] your flower putt a Little duble refined sugar: then power apint of warm watter: near boyling: ad to this half apint of sack = Cover them Close [doen?] for a day or too: then strane it of: & to every pint of [juc?] [symbol?] one pound & half of Sugar so Boyl it till it come to a thick surrup
