(165) [Cos Lornae?] To Pickle Walnot. Take half a pick the begining of July putt to them as much Rape Vinger as will Cover them [flipping?] them every fortnight for six weekes together then take them & dry them very well with a Cloth & make a pickle for them of half white vine vinger & half Rape Vinger half a pound of shallots one head of garlick some Cloves mace nuttmige. Cinammon Beat small some salt all put in the pickle & it pour upon them. Scolding hot Cover them Close when they are Cold putt in four or five spoonfuls of murstard seed Beaten.____
