(211) To make Wiggs with Caraway Comfits Take a pound of flower. & better then halfe a pound of butter & a handfull of sugar. rub your butter into the flower very fine. then strew in halfe a pound of Caraway Comfits & take 8 spoonfulls of new light yest. & with that work it into paist so make them up into wiggs. bake them after other things are drawne if you please you may doe the tops of them with Caraway Comfits. To make Wiggs Take 3 pound of flower & a pound of butter & halfe a spoonfull of ginger & as many Caraway seeds as you think fit. 6 ounces of sugar. one pint of yest put your sugar & butter into your flower. then put to them as much warm milk as will make them a light paist & so bake them on papers dridged with meale
