A [Partagel?] Cake Miss Sharp Take a pound of fine Sugar, beat very well one pound of flower very well dryed Mix thease togather, then take a pound of Butter, & wash in Rose Watter with your hand: till it is very white & soft, then put in half the flower & sugar by degrees, still keep working it with your hands, to keep soft -- then putt in 6 Eggs, Leaveing too of the whites, by degrees put in the other flower & sugar, to this add one pound of Currons, wash & dryed butter your pans, & fill them but half full, grate a Little Sugar over them.
