The very Best receit for Consumption from Mr. Rider, even to be took late _____ Take a pound of Rasons of the sun, soned A qurter of a pound of figs-- A quarter of a pound of fine Honey Half an Ounce of Lucadellus's Balsam Half an Ounce of powder of Steel Half an Ounce of flower of [Eilicampane?] A grated Nutmeg-- one poudn of duble refind sugar pounded sliced & pound all these togather in a stone morter = pour into it by degrees a pint of fine sallad oyle, when Mixed Eate a Bitt of it four times a day - the Bignesse of a nutmeg every morning drink a glass of old Malage Sack with the yolke of a new laid egg, & as much flower of Brimstone as will lie upon a Six pence = the next Morning as much [Eliumpany?] Allterternately____ this is wrot perfect___
