To Make Suger Caks.-
Take one pound of Suger, one pound of flower 7 Eggs beaten to a froth y.n mix y.m with y.e eggs & lett y.m Stand rising an hour y.n Stur in y.e flower as quick as you can run y.m upon thin papers throw lofe suger over y.m y.e Should be made of right Lisbon Suger don't forget Seeds & no too quick an oven

To Make a Common Seed Cake
Take 3 pounds of flower dryed & rub in to it one pound of fresh butter rub it in till it be almost like flower y.n boyle a pint of milk & coole it a pint of ale thick East put y.e yeast & milk with 3 or 4 Eggs beat well into y.e flower lett it be preaty Stiff set it before y.e fire a wile & w.n y.e oven is ready mix in it one pound of [Carriwe?] [Cumfits?] half a pound of powder Suger to put it in y.e hoop & bake it 3 quarts of an hour you may add allmonds & Sweetmeats & Ice it if you please.
