Receipt for the Gout in the Stomach Take one Gallon of the best French Brandy Beat one ounce of Cochineal and put into ti, Two Spoonfuls of Carraway Seeds, 1 Oounce of Liquorish, Shread fine half an Ounce of Cardemum Seeds beaten, fine or Six grains Of Jamaica pepper, Nine figs Sliced, Thirty Six Nen Raisins Stoned one Raice, of Ginger Shred Let this Stand 3 Weeks then put in one pound of Lisbon Sugar then let It Stand one Week Longer Stir the ingredients every other Day Aftor they ar put in and When Settled Strain It oft if taken with a Gouty Pain in the Stomach immediately drink a Wine Glass Full and if that Should not Releive the Patient he must has an hour afterwards repeat the Same quantity Charles Buatrokce
