For a Dropsy Take 3 hand full of the Tops of green Broom and boil it in a Gallon of Spring water, keep Scuming it till no more Scum arrises, when cold put ye Broom and water in an Earthen jug, and keep it close Cover'd for use, Take every Morning & Night one large Spoonfull of unbrused old mustard Seed, and after each Spoonfull drink half a Pint of the Broom water. This ought to be continued for several Months N.B. I take ye mustard Seed in a little Syrup to make it go down easyor
