Crane, Esq Dear Sir, Yours of 6th & 19th inst duly rec'd, latter enclosing letter about Story Co. land which has rec'd attention. Michael Burke is anxious about his Bond for a Deed sent you to be executed 7th August last -- If Mr. Durant is at home, please have the needful done -- C. R. I & P R R Co. have a Division Station at Brooklyn, instead of Marengo, and a donation of land would have made no difference in the selection of the point -- Yours truly Jn L. Coffin
