Durant, Esq New York Dear Sir Herein I enclose Deed to John [Connick?] for N 1/2 of SE 1/4 35.80.11 = 80 acres in Iowa County, consideration $1.000 payable January 1st '74, 10%, annually, secured by mortgage on this 80, and a farm of 80 acres near by, which I think a good sale as the land is very rough and I have never before been able to get over $8 offered, but the long time was a consideration with this purchaser -- Yours truly Jno L.
