You didn't say whether you had the original plat Marengo Depot Lots-- I have got the action of the Supervisors postponed till Dr Durant returns, and will have a resurvey made if you have not the original-- James O Sargent requests me to ask you for your Power of Attorney from Heloise C. Durant which lawyers want as evidence, in Wisconsin, in suit C H Delamatar vs trespassers on land [conveyed?] heretofore by T C D & yourself as Attorney -- If you will loan it to me care shall be taken as to its due return -- Jas O. has written you once about it, without reply -- Yours truly Jno L.
