Boston, March 14th 74 Henry C. Crane, Esq. New York Dear Sir, Mr Baker's letter announcing your expected arrival was duly recd. Since mine of 27th ulto enclosing a Bond, with explanations, I have made another sale, viz E 1/2 of SW 31.80.8 = 80 acres @ $12 50/100 per acre = $1.000 = Terms $300 cash, bal 1, 2 & 3 years, 10% interest annually and herewith enclose a Bond for a Deed which please execute, if regular, with the one for Mrs L C Waterman and return -- This land in 31 is three miles farther from Oxford depot than that sold to Waterman at $20, and is well sold. Let me hear from you, so that if we can't promise a Bond for a Deed we shall know it when a sale is made. I suppose they would take my assurance that it would be all right bye and bye, if you dont wish to sign these bonds -- Yours truly Jno L Coffin
