Yours of the 26th inst recd. Your gen'l power of attorney will answer, no doubt, and if any one should require its record, I suppose you will have it done -
My local agent has made two more good sales and although they pay nothing down, I would advise their acceptance, as they draw 10% & save taxes - The men are reliable and responsible and I sold 160 acres adjoining 3 years ago to Mirbach @ $10, and he has paid for it and has a fine farm and some $4,000 worth of stock - The parties will go in and improve this summer - I enclose contracts herein for the sales which please execute and return to me here, no acknowledgement required - viz Laurence Mirbach - E 1/2 of NE 25.80.11 = 80 acres, Iowa Co. for $1,000 = dates 24 Mch '74, 1st payment Dec 31 '74 $200 and 10% int in whole, and $200 & 10% in annually thereafter - William Henigan - W 1/2 of NE 35.80.11 = 80 acres same County $1,000 = $200 - Nov 1 '74 & int in whole & $200 & 10% int thereafter -
I will get duplicate agreements and retain at Davenport - Chairman of Board of Supervisors writes to know when you expect T.C.D.
