R. E. Cochrane. Chas. R. Jones. Office of Charlotte Real Estate Agency R.E. Cochrane, Manager Charlotte, N.C. Aug 19th 1886 William W Durant Esq 20 Nassau St N.Y. Dear Sir, I ommited to state in my letter yesterday that the reason the Mineral interest in 700 acres of land was not included [illegible] was because it was over worked by Col. [James?] in his anxiety to clear up the title to the Lemmond mine track which was of much more importance. I also ommited to ask you if not too much trouble, to look up all the old deeds & other papers of this property and send them to me. If you can do this it will save us considerable time & expense in having the deeds all copied from the Records [illegible] R.E. Cochrane
