that much money picked up. Now out of this mineral interest of 676 acres of land I have sold 155 acres and I wish to place myself in a position that I can deliver deed when called for. According to the agreement refered to I will get $1000 in the sale and after paying expenses the net amount to be divided with the Durant estate & myself according to terms set forth in power of Atty. The sale of this part of the land may lead to the sale of the other adjoining lands. I think from this statement you will see all there is in it & in signing the amended power of Atty they will do no more than they have already done, except that one of the heirs was in Europe when the paper was signed & Mr W. W Durant promised to have this done when she returned. & the signing of the paper now will be doing nothing more than was first agreed to. Hoping that this will [induce?] Mr Durant to execute the paper.
