Eugene Otterbourg. William W. Jenks. Richard A. Springs. Otterbourg, Jenks & Springs, Attorneys & Counselors at Law. 280 Broadway, (Stewart Building) Telephone: 4563 Cortlandt. New York, May 3rd, 1894 W. West Durant, Esq., 45 Broadway New York. Dear Sir:- On the 23rd of March last I addressed a letter to you enclosing one from R. E. Cochrane of Charlotte N. C. giving particulars of the property in which you and your family were interested and in the same letter requesting that you and your mother and sister would execute the power of attorney at your earliest convenience. I also stated in that letter if there was any further information you desired I would endeavor to obtain it for you. Since then I have received no reply, and, in the mea- time, I have received another letter from Mr. Cochrane urging me to obtain from you the power of attorney in order that he might be able to keep his engagement in making the sale mentioned in his letter which I enclosed to you. You will greatly oblige if you will give this matter your attention and let me hear from you at your earliest convenience. Yours truly, R.A. Springs
