a Post Oak, Thence north 10 East 84 poles to a Hickory in [illegible] line, Thence with his line, North 60 East 50 poles to a Pine said [illegible], cor- ner, thence north 10 West 62 poles to an Oak near the great Road, thence South 54 East to the beginning, containing 183 acres more or less, [illegible] the three William P. [illegible] Tracts as [conveyed?] to said [illegible], by deed of this date for the con- sideration of One Thousand dollars; & one other Tract, on [Dutch?] creek, & runs thence with John [Hughes?] line north 25 W. 143 po. to a small Post Oak, a crop a Branch said J Hughes corner, thence South 81 West croping said branch 20 poles to a Red Oak. The old Beginning Corner of the [illegible] Tract, thence South 45 W. 174 po. to a Black [illegible], now down, near a road, Thence South 35 E. 72 po. to a Black Oak or P. [illegible] corner, Thence with [illegible] [illegible] [Mure's?] lines North 80 East 54 po. to a Pine, Thence the same [illegible] N. 80 E. 63 po. to a pile of stones near the saw mill [illegible], thence North 15 E. 25 1/2 po. croping saw creek to a white oak in the Bank, Thence the [illegible] [illegible] of said creek, to the beginning, containing 138 acres more or less -- excepting out of this tract one acre heretofore [conveyed?] for a Public School House -- being this this [illegible] & W. P. [Mure?] land as [conveyed?] to said [illegible] by deed of this state for the consideration of one Thousand Dollars; with the right of [illegible] & equip [illegible] all of said lands or Tracts of lands, to occupy & use the same for the purpose of searching for [illegible] and minerals, to sink shafts & excavate for ores, to erect improvements necessary for mining operations, together with the [illegible] of Wood & Water thereafter for the purpose of carrying on mining operations.
