I shall go over [two?] the [?] [?] this week and see what I can as about quicksilver. I read last ever a letter from Mr Palmes at the [Linday?] he says that we can get the [Rockers?] about five miles from that place, if so I will have them bought down to Charlotte on the RR and when the roads get so that I can I will get those up to the mines. Do not fail to send by return mail $400. I did not have time to look over the pay role for this month but should think $600 would do. I will write again next Sunday. Direct all your letters to Charlotte N.C. Yours Truly Wm. F [Ourunz?]
