Upon examination of the facts herewith presented, and your desire to (illegible) your claim, it would be well for you to send me a general power of attorney for yourself and also for the heirs of Charles W. Durant with the right to lease, sell and convey any and all interests belonging to either party; and at the same time would like to have your ideas as to the compensation you would suggest for working up your title. In addition to the above, find deeds to you, as per memoranda, enclosed, and have been unable to find any deeds from you for these facts. Please let me know if you recalled (illegible) and papers hear me  (illegible) in this statement. In conclusion will say that I think you have some interests here which if properly attended to may prove valuable, but it will take some time and trouble to work up everything. I enclose certified copy of mortgage. Will be glad to hear from you at your earliest convenience.
